In 2009 the dates of our yard sale are May 15-16! This is the same weekend as High Point Estates to generate more traffic.

Please Don’t Throw Away Your Aluminum Cans!

Cans for Cancer Inc. is now making our debut in your area! Cans for Cancer is a weekly service of aluminum can pick up and portions of the proceeds are donated to the American Cancer Society!

Almost everyone has been impacted by the loss of someone close to cancer. One person CAN make a difference. We are a grass roots campaign to help cure cancer. We are not looking for donations or money, we are only interested in your aluminum can waste.

School Boundary Changes Decided -- Valley Ridge will stay at Glenn Stephens

The School board has decided on Boundary plan F. This plan keeps Valley Ridge in Glenn Stephens Elementary and Jerfferson Middle.

Proposed Elementary School Boundary Changes

Madison Metropolitan School District has announced the proposed elementary school boundary changes. Our neighborhood is impacted by the changed boundaries.

The December 10, 2007 plan (plan A) splits Valley Ridge between Crestwood and Falk elementary Schools. East of High Point Road will move from Stephens to Falk. West of High Point Road will move from Stephens to Crestwood. Also Falk feeds Toki Middle School while Crestwood feeds Jefferson Middle School (as did Stephens).
Update: The Board has added Plans B, C,and D to their web site.

2008 Annual Yard Sale!

The Valley Ridge Annual Neighborhood Yard Sale will be held every year during the 2nd weekend in May. This will be an annual event taking place at the same time each year!
